Things Work Out

I just talked to my cousin in New Jersey and she asked me to be the godfather of one of her twins.... I said hecks ya!... it worked out great because I have an exam around the same time.... at first I tried to move my exam to January, but the earliest I could move it to was in Februay.... well, it turns out that there was a good reason for me to take the exam in February.... there's even enough time for me to rearrange things so that I can make just one trip to the New York, New Jersey area....

Christmas Gift Returns

I got my brother an iPod FM radio transmitter for Christmas.... it's looked great and everything, but the reception is horrible, so I told him I'd return it and get him another one.... it worked out I guess, because the other ones that are available are cheaper..... I was supposed to go back to the store early this morning, but I wasn't feeling well..... I'm just hoping that there isn't a long line at the return counter.... I hate waiting in line.... wish me luck....

Nermal and Feeling Sick

I just fed Nermal a late lunch/early dinner. I asked him if he was hungry and he replied "meeeoooow", but it sounded more like "Ya I'm hungry, what are you stupid or something?". Anyways, he just finished a few seconds ago and he comes upstairs to the computer and complains that it wasn't enough. Since I'm trying not to be distracted, just ignored him, and he eventually gave up and went to the corner to sulk and groom. Anyways, I am really feeling sick now, it's not funny anymore. I submitted my list of programs, but I'm still working on my PS. I got a little worried, because one of the documents that was assigned to the programs has not yet been scanned. I'm hoping that they will scan it next week. Oh well, I'm not going to worry about it. I'm feeling really sick and I think I should just lie down.... I know I'm getting sick when my gums start to tingle.... is that weird?

After the plans to go to Times Square fell through, I'm trying to figure out where we're going to spend New Year's Eve.... I'm thinking of just going to City Hall, but I'm thinking it's probably going to be freakin' cold.... I don't know how long we'll be able to withstand it.... I'm not too sure about what kind of a show they'll be putting on either..... maybe we could just pretend we're in New York Times Square... it'll probably be warmer there what with all the lights....

Interesting Lost

Okay that was an interesting episode of Lost.... I guess a little bit more character development.... never really liked those two though.... but it was interesting that they had discovered the second hatch before everybody else and how the guy over-heard Ben's plans to get Jack to do the surgery.... now why the heck didn't he tell the rest of the people, I mean why wouldn't you tell everybody that you saw the others and heard what they said.... stupid....

Spa Jobs

When Ann and I went of vacation in the tropics a few years ago, she made me go to a spa at the resort we were at. I say "made me go" because I had never been to a spa, nor had I ever gotten a massage from a stranger. I'm pretty ticklish, and the idea of a stranger touching me makes me feel like I'd be even more ticklish. Well, it wasn't so bad. I didn't really enjoy it that much though. I'd rather get a massage from Ann, wink wink nudge nudge....

Lost is Winding Down

Holy crap, the new and I think final season of Lost is coming.... Space is going to be airing back to back episodes starting Jan 5 so that they can squeeze in all the remaining episodes before the season premiere of the final season starts on Jan 20.... so that will be 7-9 pm Monday-Thursday starting Jan 5 up to Jan 20.... can't wait.... that show is the best....

Fail!

Well, plans to go to New York for New Year's Eve in Times Square have fallen through.... first I couldn't find anybody who wanted to brave the hours that you have to spend standing and waiting for the ball to drop.... if you want a great spot you should get there by 3-5pm.... so that9-7 hours of waiting.... then there's the expensive flights.... then there's the fact that everybody else already have plans it I can't find a place to crash.... oh well, there's always next year....

No Lost Tonight

There's no episode of Lost tonight... I was reading the space networks website, and I read there that they will be airing two episodes a night when season 4 kicks in.... that way they'll be able to air all the episodes from seasons 1 through 4 just minutes from the season premier of season 5.... that'll be wicked awesome.... I can't wait to find out what the heck is going on on that island.... I think season 5 is the last season....

I was working on some posts for Blog itive, but when I had finished my post, it wouldn't accept it when I tried to submit it! What a waste of time and blog space. It also resulted in me running out of time to submit three posts. I kept getting a message that it was not accepted because my post did not contain the necessary link.... but it did... oh well, next time I'll just move on to the next post....

Exam Move

I just moved my exam from December 22 to February 11. I thought that it was just too close to Christmas, since it is a 2 day exam. So either I would fly home on Christmas Eve Day, or I fly home immediately after my exam on the 23. I guess that could be done too, but you never know what might happen, and I don't want to risk any problems.... I guess Feb 11 is a little far off, but I'll just have to keep an eye on it and move it earlier if I can....

I just signed up with the new blogger feature of following blogs.... it's great, I can easily find out whenever one of my blogger friends has updated and be the first one on their blog to comment.... I find such satisfaction in writing a comment "I'm first!" hehe.... it's also so convenient so I don't have to jump from blog to blog to look for updates....

Right before I left for New York to go to that big interview, I had to prepare. I didn't just have to prepare mentally, but I had to prepare appearance-wise as well. I made sure my hair was trimmed, my suit was pressed, my shoes were shined. Oh crap, I just realized that I have some bills that are due soon.... plus the car payment is going to be withdrawn soon.... Lost Picking Up

Whoaw, Lost just stepped it up a notch last night. With the introduction of the Others and Desmond and the Dharma Project etc. Yeeehaw. I think my original theory that they were actually dead and were on some kind of alternate dimension of reality playing out their new existence together was wrong. If that was the plot, then I don't think the series would last for four seasons. I thought that it was already over and that was why Space was showing the re-runs, but I just found out that the new season starts sometime early 2009. Can't wait, hope Space finishes all the previous seasons before that.

Eko

Man, Lost is crazy good.... I think that I'm on season 2 right now, and it just keeps twisting and turning. I was sad to see Mr. Eko die on today's episode. His story was very interesting. His last memory before he died was of him walking with his little brother.... makes me think that maybe I was on to something when I originally thought that they were in some kind of purgatory-like state before they pass on to the next dimension.... I don't know we'll find out this coming January when the final season starts.... can't wait....

Can't Sleep Again

I hate having insomnia.... I haven't been able to sleep for the past week, ever since I got back from New York.... I guess I'm a clinger.... I cling to things that I'm comfortable with....

Black Friday Craziness

I was in New York for the Thanksgiving weekend, which included Black Friday.... I considered doing some shopping, but being low in cash, I didn't see how that was going to work out.... also I don't think I was prepared for the long lines and the crowds.... I certainly was not ready to hear that some poor guy was trampled to death.... for Wal-Mart stuff!!! c'mon people, Wal-Mart?!
