When I was a little kid my grandmother got me started on a coin collection. She used to give me her spare change from her travels. I think I probably still have them in the back of my closet somewhere. My other grandmother also left me a bunch of coins she had accumulated over the years. Some of them where from the early 1900's, I wonder if they're worth anything? I'm probably going to be ransacking my closet later so I can find out.... If you've got an old coin collection or are an avid coin collector then I found the website for a rare coin dealer that might interest you. Monaco Rare Coin is part of the Monex family of companies, which have been America’s precious metals investment leader for decades. Monaco Rare Coin will have what you are looking for whether you are an investor or collector. Check them out, maybe you've got a rare coin hiding in your closet that's worth something?

Others
To become a person for others was a constant theme in my upbringing and early education. I did not realize that my experiences along the way were preparing me for the task already. From as early as grade school, when I participated in public speaking and poetry competitions, I was developing the communication and writing skills that have served me in clinical work; as a member of the high school math club, I learned to think analytically, and quickly; being a member of the concert band taught me about discipline, patience, and endurance when mastering any art form, as well as the importance of team work; and as a member of the youth corps I learned about social awareness and contributing to the community.
Margaret
"Are we far Toronto?" asked the young woman sitting beside me on the bus. Margaret was her name. I soon learned that she was coming from "Vanier" and needed to find someplace downtown. "Where's Vanier?" I asked her. "It's the women's prison in Milton”, she explained. Margaret had been convicted of drug possession. Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, alcohol, she had done it all. I put away what I was reading, so I could listen to her story of hard luck, battling demons, and her ardent desire to get her life back on track. In the end, all I could offer Margaret was my ear, some words of encouragement, and my map of Toronto in the hopes that she would find her way.

Karisma Hotels
Karisma from the Greek for "divine flavor"? Wow if that doesn't whet your appetite for a gourmet inclusive vacation resort, I don't know what will. Sound interesting? Then check out Karisma Hotels on the Mexican Riviera. A “Gourmet Inclusive” travel and cuisine concept? What an innovative idea. A veritable paradise for the gastronomical connoisseur. But if you're not necessarily into food they still have a variety of resorts that will cater to whatever paradisaic ambiance you're looking for. With five signature resorts that cater to an adult's only ambiance or a family-oriented ambiance, I'm sure anybody would find what they were looking for. There's the El Dorado Royale Spa Resort and The El Dorado Seaside Suites which both cater to adults only, Azul Beach and Azul Blue which are both family-friendly . Then there's The Hidden Beach Resort which caters to naturalists.
I don't think I'm ready to go au natural, but a family vacation sure sounds great right about now. It would be wonderful to be able to bring Aiden along to the beach. We're long overdue for some family time, and a family vacation somewhere warm and sunny would really hit the spot. KarismaHotels.com sounds like a great starting point, so if you're looking to go on an awesome vacation, then check them out!
Storms A'comin
It's been a really hot and sunny day today, but all of a sudden, dark clouds have rolled over. It's so dark right now, and I can hear the thunder starting to roll in. I hope this storm washes away some of the humidity coz it's so unbearably hot! I just hope that it's not so strong this time around that it doesn't blow everything over on the balcony. Some of the vegetables were ruined. Oh well, I just hope it cools things down a little.
Movies
I've been watching a lot of movies lately on HBO. It's great coz I have been out of the loop for so long that I've missed out on a lot of great movies. Luckily my friends here in New York signed up of HBO On Demand just when I got here, so I've been catching up on a lot of popular culture. Since my friends are huge Harry Potter fans, I've also caught myself up on all the movies so that when HP6 came out, I was prepared. I even started reading the books, and I was surprised how easily I got hooked.
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Boy oh boy was it ever hot today in New York City! And yesterday too! It was over 90 degrees and with the humidity, it felt even hotter. Then when you go down into the subway it feels like it's over 100. I just got home from the subway, and I was in there from midnight to 1:30AM, and it was still hot despite the fact that the sun set hours ago. I hear that in Arizona, it only a comfortable 80 degrees, and what with the desert dry heat, I bet it's a lot more comfortable than what it's like here in New York City. Maybe I'll move down to Arizona? If you're looking to move down there and need to check out some properties, then check out Scottsdale Fine Properties at SFP. Escape the humidity and move to the deserts of Arizona! Check out their Highlighted Listings too!
More Nerding Out
Somebody please take my laptop away from me, or cut off my access to eBay! I am wasting entirely too much money nerding out on Star Wars stuff! It's just too easy, and it satisfies this long-standing underlying complex I developed when my uncle threw away all my star wars toys when I was just a kid. It scarred me for life, and I guess I've been subconsciously trying to relive my lost childhood. Also, I don't have to ask my parents to get me star wars stuff, like when I was a kid, but it sure puts a big dent in my paypal account.
